Ingredients
- 400 g Kasseler
- 50 g Bacon
- 1 l Meatsoup
- 4 Onions
- 600 g Carrots
- 1 Kohlrabi
- 500 g Potatoes
- 2 tbsp Clarified butter
- 1 tsp Curry
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 tsp Chilli from the mill
- 1 tsp Maple syrup
- 1 Clove of garlic
- Sugar
Instructions
- Pat the meat dry, dice bite-sized and simmer in the meat broth with the finely chopped bacon for about 50 minutes.
- Peel the onions and dice finely. Press the garlic through the press. Peel the carrots and kohlrabi and cut into cubes. Heat the clarified butter in a saucepan and sauté the onions and garlic until translucent. Add the carrot cubes and sauté briefly. Add the carrots and kohlrabi to the meat and simmer for another 25 minutes.
- Peel, wash and dice the potatoes. Add to the stew and cook for another 20 minutes. Season the stew with curry, salt, pepper, a pinch of sugar, chili and maple syrup. Garnish with a little parsley to serve. Farm bread tastes good with it.
