Ingredients
- 500 g Kasseler rib spear raw smoked
- Water
- 1 Bay leaf
- 3 Black peppercorns
- 1000 g Turnip
- 500 g Carrots
- 1 Leek
- 300 g Potatoes
- Parsley crispy fresh
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Cover the kasseler with water and bring to the boil together with the bay leaf and peppercorns and cook for 30-45 minutes. If you can loosen the bones easily, the meat is done.
- In the meantime, peel the turnip, carrots and potatoes and cut into cubes. Clean the leek and cut into rings. Put everything in a colander and rinse thoroughly.
- When the meat is done, remove it from the pot, remove it from the bones, cut into cubes and set aside.
- Cook the vegetables in the broth. Take half of the vegetables out of the broth with a ladle and mash the other half. Put the removed vegetables back into the pot, season with salt and pepper and stir in the chopped parsley.
- Place the meat cubes on the stew and serve.
