Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g carrot(s), peeled
- 3 m.-large apples, peeled, pitted
- 1 lemon(s), the juice
- 3 tbsp honey, liquid
- 2 orange(s), the juice
- 100 ml cream, maybe a little more or less
- 1 pinch of ginger powder
- 75 g walnuts, chopped
- 1 tbsp sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 day 16 hours; Total time approx. 1 day 16 hours 10 minutes
Grate the carrots and apples and mix with the lemon juice. Combine the remaining ingredients in another bowl and season to taste. Fold in the chopped walnuts (hazelnuts work too) and let stand for 40 minutes. My older son eats the salad until he’s completely speechless.
