Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 rolls, dry
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp fat
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Grate the rolls and quarter them. Whisk the egg yolk and sugar well, add the milk, and soak the roll quarters in it. After half an hour, turn the rolls over. When they’re completely soaked, coat them in egg white and then in the grated breadcrumbs and bake them in hot oil. Then sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
