Casserole from Holiday Leftovers …

The perfect casserole from holiday leftovers … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • Butter for the mold

Leftover from the holidays:

  • 2 Potatoes
  • 2 Grilled chicken breasts
  • 1 portion Spring onions with peas and carrots
  • 1 portion Buttered ribbon noodles

aside from that:

  • Seasoned pepper
  • Salt
  • 3 Sprigs of thyme
  • 50 ml Cream
  • 75 g 4-Käse-Mischung gerieben
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Spread the butter on a suitable casserole dish, place the potatoes in thin slices like a roof tile, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cut the chicken breasts into 1 cm wide slices and spread over the potatoes; above the vegetables. Now pluck the zhymian leaves from the twigs – and season again with pepper (salt no longer needs, because the cheese is salty enough.
  4. Top with the ribbon noodles and finally the grated cheese to top it off, pour on the cream and cook the casserole in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
  5. A glass of red wine with it ……. Perfect !!
