Casserole: Mince Casserole with Kohlrabi and Celery
The perfect casserole: mince casserole with kohlrabi and celery recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 350 g Beef tartare
- 300 g Celeriac fresh
- 500 g Kohlrabi fresh
- 1 tbsp Sunflower oil
- 1 tbsp Dried oregano
- 2 Organic eggs
- 250 ml Milk 1.5% fat – I took 3.5%
- 250 g Grated cheese 30% fat in dry matter – Full fat level for me
- Freshly grated nutmeg
- Salt and pepper
- Peel the celery and kohlrabi and cut into slices about 1/2 cm thick.
- Blanch both in boiling salted water for approx. 2-3 minutes. Drain through a sieve and drain well.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (convection 160 ° C).
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the tartar in it until crumbly and season well with oregano, salt and pepper.
- Whisk the milk with salt, pepper and grated nutmeg.
- In a baking dish we now alternately layer the vegetable slices, tartare and grated cheese. We finish with the vegetable slices.
- Finally we pour the egg milk over it and sprinkle the whole thing with grated cheese (if you like, you can use Parmesan). I had grated gouda.
- Put the casserole in the middle of the oven and bake for about 30 minutes. With my oven, it always takes a little longer until the top is nicely browned.
- If you really want to lose weight overnight, there must be no bread or other side dishes such as potatoes, pasta or anything else. It might help if you believe in it.
