Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 800 g potato(s), waxy
- 200 ml milk
- 180 ml garlic sauce
- 100 g Cheddar cheese
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- salt and pepper
- Butter for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly. Bring the milk to a boil and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Add the potatoes and garlic sauce to the milk and mix well. Grease a baking dish well with butter. Arrange the potatoes in the pan. Grate the cheddar cheese and spread it on top. Bake the potatoes in the oven for about one hour, until they are soft and golden brown.
