Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 600 g beef (shredded)
  • 250 g gnocchi
  • salt water
  • 250 ml hollandaise sauce
  • ½ pack cheese (Gouda or Edam), grated
  • 1 pinch(s) of cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • some olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

First, peel the onion, then slice it in half and cut it into half rings. Heat a little olive oil in a pan. Add the meat. Lightly fry the meat and season with salt and cayenne pepper. Be careful, if you don’t like it too spicy, you should use a generous amount of cayenne pepper or choose a milder type of pepper. Once the meat is seasoned and browned, add the chopped onion. Continue frying the meat to taste, while boiling salted water. While the meat and onions continue to fry on a low heat, add the gnocchi to the hot water. Place the cooked meat and onions in a baking dish. Add the gnocchi and pour the hollandaise sauce over them. Mix everything well and sprinkle with cheese, if desired. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven). Now put the dish in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
