Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 small cauliflower
- 400 g broccoli
- 400 g cooked ham
- 200 g carrot(s)
- 50 g butter
- 30 g flour
- 250 g cream
- 125 g milk
- 150 g cheese (Gouda), grated
- Salt
- pepper
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Clean the cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots. Divide the cauliflower and broccoli into florets. Finely dice the carrots. Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot and cook the cauliflower florets for 3 minutes. Then add the diced carrots and broccoli florets and cook for another 7 minutes. Drain. Melt the butter in the pot, add the flour, and sauté. Pour in the cream and milk. Simmer for 3-4 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir in the cheese. Place the vegetables in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the diced ham over the top and pour over the cheese sauce. Bake at 200°C for about 15 minutes until crispy.
