Cauliflower casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 200 g cooked ham, lean
  • 2 cups of cream or whole milk yogurt
  • 2 eggs
  • some flour
  • 100 g Emmental cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Clean and wash the cauliflower, and divide it into florets. Briefly boil the florets in boiling salted water until semi-soft. Cut the ham into small strips and finely grate the cheese. Place the cauliflower florets in an ovenproof casserole dish and toss with the ham. Mix the cream or full-fat yogurt with the flour and eggs, season well with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir in the grated cheese and pour everything over the cauliflower. Add a few knobs of butter and bake the casserole at 180°C for about 20 minutes.
