Cauliflower gratin with salami

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 800 g cauliflower (frozen)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 200 g mushrooms (fresh)
  • 40 g butter
  • 250 g sour cream
  • 100 g crème fraîche – herbs
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 salt and pepper
  • 150 g cheese (Gouda)
  • 200g salami
  • ¼ tsp sambal oelek
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the cauliflower in salted water for 5 minutes until al dente, drain, and place in a greased baking dish. Finely chop the onion and garlic, clean the mushrooms, and slice them thinly. Cut the salami into strips. Briefly sauté the onion and garlic in the heated butter, then briefly sauté the mushrooms and salami, and season everything with the spices. Spread the mushroom, salami, and onion mixture over the cauliflower and lightly fold in. Whisk the sour cream, crème fraîche, and egg and spread over the cauliflower. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on the desired degree of browning.
