Cauliflower Sambal

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1.2 kg cauliflower
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 cm ginger root
  • 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 tbsp sambal oelek
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce (Ketjap Manis)
  • 2 spring onions
  • Salt
  • 1 pinch(s) lemon pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Divide the cauliflower into florets. Peel and dice the stalks. Wash the diced cauliflower and florets, and drain. Peel and finely chop the onion, garlic, and ginger. Heat oil in a wok or pan and stir-fry the cauliflower for two minutes. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger and cook for another three minutes. Add the sambal oelek, ketjap manis, and a little water. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes. Trim the spring onions, slice them into rings, and stir them in. Season to taste with salt and lemon pepper.
