Cauliflower Soup with Turmeric
The perfect cauliflower soup with turmeric recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Cauliflower
- 1 liter Chicken broth instant
- 1 Shallot
- 1 small Clove of garlic
- 1 tsp Ground turmeric
- White pepper
- Salt
- Butter
- Fresh parsley
- Wholegrain black bread
- Freshly grated nutmeg
- 2 Splash Worcester sauce
- Chop the shallot and garlic and sauté in butter.
- Sprinkle some flour over it, stir, add the turmeric and briefly toast the cauliflower florets.
- Immediately afterwards add the broth and a dash of milk and about 20 minutes. simmer gently. Season with a little salt and grated nutmeg.
- Shortly before the end of the cooking time, season with salt and pepper and a dash of cream. If it is still too thin, thicken with flour (mixed with a little cold water beforehand).
- Place the sliced parsley with the toasted bread and a little Worcester sauce on the filled plate.
