Celery and carrot patties

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 small celeriac, coarsely grated
  • 3 m.-sized carrot(s), coarsely grated
  • 2 small onions, diced
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, squeezed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ baguette(s) (old wholemeal baguette or equivalent amount of old rolls)
  • 1 cup(s) milk
  • 2 eggs
  • nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 bunch dill, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Sauté celeriac, carrots, onions, and garlic in olive oil until translucent. Soak stale bread in milk. Mix everything with eggs, nutmeg, salt, pepper, and fresh dill. Form patties and fry slowly in olive oil over low heat. Serve with rosemary potatoes and salad.
