Celery salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ½ celeriac
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 apple
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • ½ lemon(s), juice
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Peel the celery, apple, and onion and grate them into small sticks using a grater over a bowl. Add the vinegar and oil and stir in. Add the cream and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. You’ll need more than a pinch or 1 teaspoon of salt, so I’d say to taste. Then, place the bowl in the refrigerator for 1 hour to allow the salad to sit a bit and absorb moisture. This way, you won’t need to add any water, and the salad will have a bit more flavor.
