Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of sandwich toast
  • 300 g flour
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar or one vanilla pod
  • 3 eggs
  • 400 ml milk
  • 100 g brown sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

French toast with pancake batter

Make a pancake batter from flour, eggs, sugar, milk, and vanilla seeds or vanilla sugar. Grease a pan with a little butter and heat to medium heat. Dip the sandwich slices individually into the batter and let them soften on a plate for 2 minutes. Fry in the pan until golden brown. Serve with maple syrup, cinnamon sugar, vanilla sauce, fruit, or chocolate.
