Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g cevapcici, frozen or fresh
- 2 bell peppers, red and/or yellow
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 4 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
- 250 g rice
- 750 ml vegetable stock
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1 tsp thyme
- n. B. Salt
- n. B. Pfeffer
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Fry the cevapcici in a large pan, or preferably a roasting pan, until well browned. Add the onions and bell peppers and sauté briefly. Then add the tomato paste and paprika and sauté briefly. Add the stock and stir in the rice. Simmer until the rice is cooked, adding water if necessary so the rice is always lightly covered. Finally, add the rosemary and thyme, and salt and pepper to taste. This dish can also be enhanced with other ingredients, such as beans or spices like chili.
