Cevapcici with Tzaziki

The perfect cevapcici with tzaziki recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Ground beef
  • 125 g Quark semi-fat
  • 75 g Yogurt 10% fat
  • 0,25 Cucumber
  • 0,5 Onion
  • 0,5 Red peppers
  • 0,5 Teaspoon (level) Sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Peel the cucumber and grate it finely, sprinkle with salt and leave to stand for 15 minutes, then squeeze out the grated cucumber. Mix the curd cheese and yoghurt and the grated cucumber in a bowl, season with salt and pepper. For the cevapcici: peel the onion and chop it very finely. Clean the peppers, wash them and quarter them lengthways, core them and cut into strips. Knead the minced beef with the onions, salt, pepper and paprika powder to form a dough. Using moistened hands, shape sausages about 2 cm thick. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the cevapcici in it, turning several times, on all sides for about 5 minutes. Serve with the tzaziki and spread the pepper strips on the cevapcici.
