Zucchini Rice Pot with Cevapcici
The perfect zucchini rice pot with cevapcici recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 gr Long grain rice
- Salt pepper
- 400 g Mixed minced meat
- 1 tbsp Tomato paste
- 0,5 tsp Sweet paprika
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 3 medium sized Zucchini
- 1 Garlic cloves
- 1 Onion
- 100 g Sheep cheese
- Put rice in a good 300 ml boiling salted water. Cover and leave to soak over low heat for about 20 minutes.
- Knead the minced meat, tomato paste, salt, pepper and paprika. Form 12-16 rolls (cevapcici) out of this. Fry in 1 tablespoon of hot oil in a pan for about 5 minutes. Keep warm.
- Clean, wash and slice the zucchini. Peel and dice the garlic and onion.
- Heat the remaining oil in the brown fat. Fry the zucchin, onion and garlic for 6-8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Crumble the sheep’s cheese and fold into the zucchinis with rice, season to taste. Serve with cevapcici.
