Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g chard
- 125 g ham, diced
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 500 ml vegetable broth (instant)
- 200 g cream
- pepper
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Wash and trim the chard, cut the stems into small cubes, and roughly chop the chard greens. Peel and finely chop the garlic clove. Fry the ham cubes in the hot oil, add the chard stalks, and sauté everything together for 5-10 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté. Add the chard greens and let them collapse. Sauté for another 5 minutes. Deglaze everything with the vegetable stock and cream, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for another 10 minutes. Purée everything thoroughly and bring back to a boil. Adjust seasoning if necessary. This recipe serves 4 people as a starter soup; for a main course, I would double the amount for 4 people.
