- 250 g date(s), dried
- 250 g fig(s), dried
- 250 g almond(s), grated
- 250 g hazelnuts, grated
- 500 g apples
- Cinnamon
- red wine

a Jewish recipe, served with matzo, lamb and green herbs
Peel and finely chop the apples. Process all ingredients through a meat grinder (or chop in a food processor). Season with cinnamon and red wine.
