Cheese and Spinach Pizza

The perfect cheese and spinach pizza recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Covering

  • 250 g Spelled flour type 1050
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 20 g Fresh yeast
  • Salt
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 piece Garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 150 g Frozen spinach
  • 0,5 teaspoon Oregano
  • 200 g Mozzarella
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • 50 g Gorgonzola
  • 400 g Tomatoes
  • Seasoned Salt
  1. Put 1,125 ml lukewarm water in a bowl, crumble in the yeast and stir. Put the flour, oil, the yeast mixture and salt in a mixing bowl and stir or mix everything briefly until you have a smooth dough. Cover the bowl and let it rest in a warm place for about 20 to 30 minutes.
  2. For the topping, finely dice the onion and sauté in 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Cut tomatoes into small pieces and add and simmer, add oregano, herb salt and pepper. Put aside.
  3. Finely chop the garlic cloves and sauté in 1 tablespoon olive oil, add frozen spinach, season with salt and pepper and sauté in a closed pot for 5 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Take the dough out of the bowl, roll it out and place it on the baking sheet, prick several times with a fork.
  6. 20 min. Of baking. The pizza has a nice crispy edge, but do not spread the topping all the way around the edge.
