Vegi Toast

The perfect vegi toast recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 disc Toast (whole grain tastes best)
  • 40 g Cottage cheese
  • 2 piece Blue figs
  • 2 tsp Honey
  • 5 leaves Basil
  • 10 leaves Arugula
  • 5 piece Cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic cream
  • 2 tbsp Buffalo mozzarella
  1. First toast the slice of toast and then let it cool down briefly.
  2. Then spread the cottage cheese on the toast and season with a little salt (preferably with coarse salt).
  3. Peel the figs, cut them into slices and spread them on the cottage cheese. To support the sweetness of the figs, add a little honey on top.
  4. Place the basil and rocket leaves on the figs.
  5. Then cut the cherry tomatoes in half and spread them on the greens.
  6. Mash the buffalo mozarella with your hands so that there are very small pieces. Then distribute these on the tomatoes.
  7. Now season the whole thing with a little herbal salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil. Finally, draw a few lines over it with the balsamic cream.
