Cheese and walnut cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 40 g walnuts
  • 100 g flour
  • 120 g butter
  • 120 g feta cheese
  • 1 egg(s)

Makes about 40 cookies. Finely grind the walnuts. Put the flour, salt and pepper in the food processor, dice the butter and add to the flour and process everything at low speed until fine crumbs. Now coarsely grate the feta and add to the processor with the walnuts. Now let the processor mix at high speed until a firm dough forms. Preheat the oven to 190°C. Roll out the dough thinly on a lightly floured work surface. Use a cookie cutter (diameter approx. 5 cm) to cut out discs. Place the discs on a baking tray and brush with the beaten egg. Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool on a wire rack and store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
