Cheese and wild garlic spread

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 300 g Tilsiter
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 8 wild garlic leaves
  • 1 tsp, leveled Pul Biber
  • Salt
  • 5 tsp, heaped sour cream
  • 5 tsp, heaped mayonnaise

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Cut the cheese into very fine cubes. Peel and finely dice the onion. Rinse the wild garlic briefly, pat dry, and cut into fine strips. Mix the sour cream and mayonnaise together and fold in the Tilsiter, wild garlic, onion, and Pul Biber. Season with salt, if desired, then refrigerate. Serve with good rye bread. If you don’t have Pul Biber (available at Turkish supermarkets), you can season with mild paprika and a little salt.
