Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 200 g processed cheese
  • 200 g cheese (e.g. Emmental or Gouda), grated
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • some lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Mix the melted cheese with the cream cheese thoroughly, then add the grated cheese (spicy or mild, depending on your preference). Season with salt and pepper, and add a little nutmeg and lemon juice if desired. This is the basic recipe; you can add more if desired. The recipe itself is incredibly simple, almost too simple. It really becomes interesting with its combinations with various vegetables or bread, making it perfect for any cocktail party, as finger food, or as an appetizer.
