Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g margarine or butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup rum
  • ½ cup semolina
  • 1 cup chocolate, grated
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup nuts, ground
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 jar cherry(s)
  • 1 pack of cake icing to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Drain the cherries from the jar thoroughly. Mix all ingredients (except the glaze) together. Finally, carefully fold in the drained cherries. Butter a cake or loaf pan thoroughly and dust with crumbs. Pour the batter into the pan and bake at 200°C (400°F) for 50-60 minutes. Let the cake cool and brush with the glaze.
