Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 115 g oat flakes
- 320 g buttermilk
- 130 g flour
- 2 tbsp wheat germ
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 125 g cheese, grated
- 1 egg(s)
- 60 ml oil
- some salt

In a bowl, combine the oats and buttermilk and let them sit for 5 to 10 minutes. In another bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, wheat germ, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cheese. Add the egg and oil to the oat mixture and mix with the dry ingredients. Fill the batter 3/4 full into the holes of a prepared muffin tin. Sprinkle some grated cheese into each hole. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C on the middle rack for about 20-25 minutes.
