Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp sweet cream
  • 125 g flour
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 4 slices of cooked ham
  • 4 slices of cheese (Gouda)

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Mix the eggs, flour, cream, and a pinch of salt until the batter is light and fluffy. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan. Pour half of the egg mixture into the pan. Use a spatula to pull the set egg mixture from the edge of the pan to the center to prevent it from burning. Allow the egg mixture to set and brown on the bottom. Transfer the omelet to a plate and keep warm. Use the remaining batter to make another omelet. Top both omelets with ham and cheese. Cut each omelet into eight cake slices. Fold each slice over from the tip to the wide side and secure with a wooden skewer.
