Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 slice(s) of toast
  • some salt
  • possibly ham or bacon
  • some margarine

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Heat some margarine in a pan. Then make a 3 cm circular hole in the center of the toast and place the toast in the pan. Next, crack the egg along the edge and, like a fried egg, place the yolk in the center of the hole as close to the center as possible. Sprinkle some salt on the egg toast. After a few minutes (depending on how hard you want the egg to be), turn the egg toast over and let it sizzle for another few minutes. Tip: You can also fry some ham or bacon and spread it on the bread. Transfer everything to a plate and serve (or hold it in your hand, as it is quite crispy and firm).
