Cheese quiche with bacon

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g puff pastry
  • 2 onions, roughly diced
  • 100 g bacon, streaky, diced
  • 200 g cheese, grated (e.g. Gouda)
  • 150 ml sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • chives
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Lightly grease a 26cm springform pan and line it with the puff pastry. Raise the edges (approx. 3cm). Sauté the onions and bacon in a pan until softened. Fold the grated cheese into the onion and bacon mixture and spread it over the pastry. Mix the sour cream with the eggs and season with spices. Stir in the chives. Bake the quiche at 200°C for about 35-40 minutes.
