Cheese – Salami – Muffin

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 50 g salami, diced
  • 280 g flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 60 ml oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 180 g buttermilk
  • 50 g cheese, grated Gouda
  • some sweet paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Sift the flour into a bowl, add the sugar, baking powder, and salt, and mix everything together. Pour the oil into a large bowl and stir in the eggs and buttermilk. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until a smooth batter forms. Fold in the Gouda and salami. Pour the batter into the greased muffin tin and bake for 20-25 minutes at 170°C (350°F) fan-assisted oven.
