Cheese / Salami Snails
The perfect cheese / salami snails recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 450 g Flour
- 1,5 tsp Salt
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 packet Dry yeast
- 0,25 l Lukewarm water
- 100 g Grated cheese
- Salami
- Some cream
- Put the flour and salt in a bowl. Mix water, olive oil and dry yeast and then add to the flour, knead the whole thing. The dough now has to rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Divide the dough into 3 parts. Roll out and brush thinly with cream. Now you can prove it. With just cheese or with salami and cheese. Roll up from the long side and cut about 1-1.5cm thick strips. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and press lightly. At the end there is a little cheese on the snail. Bake at 220 degrees (convection) until they are golden yellow!
