Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cups of sweet cream
  • 150 g cream cheese or mascarpone
  • 1 tbsp vegetable broth, granulated
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 150 g shrimp, pickled in brine
  • 1 small can of mixed vegetables (peas, corn, and pepper mix, 425 g)
  • 1 pinch(s) of cayenne pepper
  • 50 ml white wine to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Sauté the finely chopped onion in olive oil, then add the cream to the pot. Add the cream cheese and heat, stirring occasionally to melt the cheese. Add the vegetable stock and season with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. If desired, add a little white wine. Then add the vegetable mixture and the drained shrimp and heat again. Season to taste. The sauce tastes great with tortellini or as a cheese sauce for any type of pasta.
