Cheeseburger balls

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 can of bread dough (Knack and Back, 6 pieces)
  • 250 g minced beef
  • 2 pickles
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 3 slices of Chester cheese (toast cheese)
  • 4 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • e.g. sesame
  • n. B. Oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Finely dice the onions and pickles. Sauté the onions in oil until translucent, add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Add the ketchup, mustard, and pickles, and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Let cool. Quarter the cheese slices. Roll out the roll dough flat with a rolling pin. Place two pieces of cheese in the center of each and top with a tablespoon of the minced meat mixture. Fold the dough over and press down firmly. Place the balls on a baking sheet, closed side up. Moisten the tops with a little water and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired. Bake the balls for 15 to 25 minutes (depending on the desired browning) at 200°C fan oven.
