Ingredients for 1 servings:
- Dough, sweet shortcrust pastry according to my recipe
- 4 egg whites
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp cane sugar
- 150 g margarine, unhydrogenated OR butter
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 kg quark (low-fat quark)
- 1 lemon(s), juice
- 1 tsp vanilla pod(s)
- 2 tbsp potato flour
- 1 tsp baking powder (cream of tartar) OR baking soda
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
1 shortcrust pastry recipe, see my profile. Place the shortcrust pastry in a springform pan lined with baking paper OR roll it out in a greased springform pan. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form, gradually adding 2 tablespoons of sugar. Beat the margarine with the egg yolk and honey until fluffy, gradually adding the other ingredients and stirring in. Finally, carefully fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour the mixture onto the pastry base. Bake in a cold oven at 155°C (fan oven) for about 75 minutes. Or bake at 180°C (preheated oven) for about 60 minutes.
