Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g quark (cottage cheese)
- 100 g butter
- 80 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp semolina
- 1 tbsp rum
- Lemon peel, grated
- 1 vanilla pod(s), (alternatively use a little less sugar and vanilla sugar instead)

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Stir the curd until smooth. Melt the butter and add it to the curd mixture. Scrape the vanilla pod out of the pod and add it to the curd mixture along with the remaining ingredients. Stir well. Pour into buttered 160 ml glass molds or jars (careful not to overfill!) and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for about 20 minutes.
