Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 packs of puff pastry
- 250g mozzarella
- 250 g feta cheese
- 25 g butter
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Georgian specialty
Filling: Grate cheese and season with pepper. Place one package of puff pastry on a baking sheet (lined with parchment paper or buttered). Spread the cheese mixture over the pastry and add butter flakes. Cover with the second sheet of puff pastry, seal the edges, and decorate as desired, e.g., simply press down with a fork or make borders. Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for approximately 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
