Cherry and nut cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 5 eggs
  • 180 g sugar
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 200 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 300 g whipped cream
  • n. B. Cherry jam
  • n. B. eggnog
  • possibly chocolate flakes, white

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Beat the eggs and sugar until frothy. Add the baking powder and nuts and mix well. Pour the batter into a springform pan. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 180-200°C (top/bottom heat, depending on the oven) for 25-30 minutes. Let the base cool and remove from the springform pan. Spread the cherry jam over the base. Whip the cream until stiff, pour over the jam, and garnish with advocaat, if desired. If you like, you can stir a few white chocolate flakes into the cream.
