Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g flour
  • ½ bag(s) of baking powder
  • 100 g almonds, ground
  • 2 glasses of cherries
  • 250 g flour
  • 200 g sugar
  • 150 g butter
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • n. B. Cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

my family’s favorite cake

For the dough, cream the butter with sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir in. Then stir in the almonds. Quickly knead the crumble ingredients together and rub into crumbles. A little cinnamon can be added, if desired. Spread the dough onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and top with the cherries. Spread the crumble on top and bake the cake at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for about 45 minutes.
