Cherry Curd Balls
The perfect cherry curd balls recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Flour
- 250 g Vanilla sugar -from my KB-
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 4 Eggs
- 500 g Quark
- 0,5 tsp Salt

- 1 glass Cherries Morello cherries
- Oil
- Vanilla sugar from my KB
- Knead the first 6 ingredients into a dough.
- Heat the oil in a saucepan.
- Drain the cherries.
- Shape dough balls (with 2 spoons or your hands) and press a cherry into each ball. Bake in the oil until they are brown (turn the temperature down!)
- Let the balls drip onto kitchen paper and toss in the vanilla sugar.
- TIP: You can also use normal sugar for the dough and for rolling, then simply add a packet of vanilla sugar to the dough.
