Cherry Curd Dessert

Ingredients
 

For the cherries:

  • 1 Glass Cherries
  • 150 ml Cherry juice
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Food starch
  • 4 tbsp Cherry juice

For the curd mass:

  • 500 g Quark
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 cups Whipped cream
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar

To sprinkle on:

  • Chocolate flakes

Instructions
 

For the cherries:

  • Drain the cherries well in a sieve. (Put 6 cherries aside for decoration).
  • Put 2,150 ml cherry juice in a saucepan, add 3 tablespoons of sugar and bring to the boil.
  • Mix 1 tablespoons of cornstarch and 4 tablespoons of cherry juice until smooth, then add and stir.
  • Add the drained cherries and stir in.

For the curd mass:

  • Put the quark in a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of sugar and stir.
  • 1 Whip a cup of whipped cream with 1 packet of vanilla sugar until stiff, then add to the quark and stir in.
  • Layer cherries and quark alternately in 6 glasses, starting with cherries and ending with quark. Then decorate each glass with a cherry.

To sprinkle on:

  • Sprinkle chocolate flakes on top.
