Ingredients

  • 2,2 kg Sweet cherries
  • 40 cl Sunrice coconut
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1100 g Preserving sugar 2: 1

Instructions

  • Wash and remove the sweet cherries, if you should do it with a knife like me, it would be advisable to use gloves (disposable) otherwise you have fingers like a gardener. So halve and core, put in a bowl, add the sunrice as well as the vanilla sugar and the preserving sugar. Mix together and chop it up a little with the whisk. Then cover and put in the refrigerator for 3 hours so that the whole thing can go through. After this time, the whole thing can be brought to a boil, after boiling let it simmer for about 4 minutes. For this time I filled the glasses again to the brim with boiling water in order to be able to close them better. After the 4 minutes, remove the water from the glasses and refill them with the boiling jam, put the lid on and close tightly. Put glasses on your head for 15 minutes and then back on your "feet".
