Cherry Jam with Rum Flavor

The perfect cherry jam with rum flavor recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 kg Sweet cherries
  • 1 kg Preserving sugar 2: 1
  • 1 Organic lemon
  • 2 Bottle of Rumarorma
  • 7 Twist-Off glasses
  1. Wash and stone the cherries. Bring to the boil with the preserving sugar and lemon juice. Let cook for approx. 7-10 minutes. Puree according to taste. Season to taste with rum aroma and make a gelling test. Pour into the rinsed jars and close immediately. Let it cool down overnight. Store in a cool and dark area.
