Cherry tart with crumble

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 ½ jars of cherries
  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Fat and flour for the mold
  • some breadcrumbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Grease and flour a 26cm tart tin. Drain the cherries. Melt the butter. Mix together 125g sugar, vanilla sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and the egg. Slowly add the melted, slightly cooled butter and knead with a hand mixer until crumbly. Press 2/3 of the dough into the base of the tin. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and scatter the cherries on top. Spread the remaining crumble over the cherries. Bake in a preheated oven (200°C, gas mark 3, fan oven 175°C) for about 35 minutes. Serve with freshly whipped cream or ice cream (I think vanilla or cream ice cream goes perfectly with it)!
