Chia Water: Healthy drink with lemon
If you want to add some flavor to your chia water, you can add a little lemon, for example.
- Mix about 2 tablespoons of chia seeds with 350 ml of cold water.
- In order for the seeds to swell well, you should put the water in the refrigerator for one to two hours.
- The water thickens and acquires a gel-like consistency. Dilute the drink with about a liter of water.
- Now squeeze a lemon and add the juice. Now you can sweeten your chia water with honey if you like.
- As an alternative to the lemon, you can also use the juice of an orange. If you like, add a few slices of cucumber, strawberries, or watermelon.
