Chicken and Ham Croquettes

The perfect chicken and ham croquettes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Chicken breast
  • 500 g Onions
  • 250 g Ham pata negra or ham on the bone
  • 2 Pc. Eggs
  • 600 ml Olive oil / oil to fry
  • 50 g Flour
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 100 ml Nutmeg
  • Pepper salt,
  • Breadcrumbs for breading
  • Attends
  • Chinese cabbage fresh
  • 50 g Pork belly
  1. – Bring the milk, cinnamon, pepper and nutmeg to the boil. Dice the chicken breast very small and add to it. Then simmer for another 10 minutes. Chop the onions and fry them in oil, then add the flour and mix well. Add the cooled milk and ingredients to the onion-flour mixture and stir. Finely dice the ham, add to the mixture and stir again. Let cool down. Cut the Chinese cabbage into small pieces and stew it in the pan with oil. Add the diced belly and braise for about 10 minutes (stir). Season to taste with salt and pepper (keep warm). Take a handful of the mixture, knead together and shape into small croquettes. Beat the eggs. First turn the croquettes in egg, then in breadcrumbs and deep-fry in oil until golden brown. Serve immediately hot with a salad. Spread the crema de balsamic vinegar on plates as a decoration.
