Chicken Fillet Wrapped in Ham

The perfect chicken fillet wrapped in ham recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Chicken breast fillets
  • 1 teaspoon Rosemary spice
  • Salt
  • Paprika spice
  • 6 Discs Raw ham
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • *****Gemüse*****
  • 5 Carrots
  • 2 small Zucchini
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 125 ml White wine
  • 1 teaspoon Grated lemon peel
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped parsley
  1. Wash the chicken breast fillets – pat dry and fry in a pan with hot oil.
  2. Remove the meat, season with salt, pepper and rosemary and wrap each fillet with 2 slices of ham.
  3. Now peel the onion and the garlic – dice, wash the zucchini, clean the carrots and cut both into thin strips.
  4. Heat the oil in the pan, sweat the onion until translucent, add the garlic and the vegetables and fry everything.
  5. Mix the white wine with the tomato paste well, add to the vegetables and season with salt and paprika.
  6. Place the chicken fillets on top of the vegetables and stew for about 15 minutes with the lid closed and on a low heat.
  7. Remove the fillets, mix the lemon zest and parsley into the vegetables and season again if necessary.
  8. Put the vegetables on a plate, put the fillets on top and serve with potatoes or mashed potatoes – bon appetit; 🙂
