Chicken and Mushroom Schnitzel

The perfect chicken and mushroom schnitzel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Chicken schnitzel
  • 300 g Mushrooms
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Red Paprika
  • 300 ml Cream
  • 150 g Grated Gouda cheese or other cheese to taste
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Some curry
  • Some oil
  1. Let the oil get hot in a pan. Add the chopped onions and cook until translucent. In the meantime, clean and slice the mushrooms. Add to the onions and let them take on color. Core the pepper, remove the whites and cut into small cubes. Also admit. Sweat briefly and fill up with cream. Season to taste with salt, pepper and a pinch of curry. Put the chicken schnitzel in a baking dish and pour the mushroom sauce over it. Finally, sprinkle with the grated cheese. Then put the whole thing in the preheated oven at about 180-200 degrees. My casserole took about 40 minutes.
