Chicken breast fillet in grape – cucumber – cream sauce

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g chicken breast fillet(s) or turkey breast fillet
  • 225 ml cream
  • 500 ml chicken broth
  • 1 package grapes, seedless, halved
  • 1 cucumber(s), peeled, cut into strips
  • 2 tsp tarragon
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • some cornstarch or flour or light sauce thickener
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Wash the chicken breast fillet, pat dry, and cut into strips. Brown it in a large pan. Peel and crush the garlic, add it to the pan, and fry briefly. Season the meat with salt and pepper to taste. Deglaze with the chicken stock. Add the cream and bring to a simmer. Now add the halved grapes, the sliced ​​cucumber, and the tarragon. Let the whole thing simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes. Finally, thicken the sauce with cornstarch mixed with water, flour, or a light sauce thickener. Potatoes go wonderfully with the schnitzel.
